Welcome to our new look website
We’re delighted to celebrate a new chapter for The Cosmetic Formulator. On 5 November 2026, we launched our new look website, bringing together our courses, learning resources and formulation tools in a faster, cleaner and more welcoming space.
Whether you’re exploring cosmetic formulation for the first time or returning to build on your knowledge, we’ve designed the new website to make it easier to find your next step. There’s more detail to help you choose a course, a central place to manage your learning and practical tools to support you when you’re ready to formulate.
We’re excited to share what’s new, and we’d love you to take a look around.
A fresh look and a smoother experience
The new website combines a cleaner design with faster browsing, helping you spend more time exploring the subjects that interest you. From reading an article to choosing your next course, the aim is to make the experience feel straightforward and enjoyable.
We’ve also expanded our course information so you can get a clearer picture of what each course covers and how it fits your interests before you enrol.
Your learning, all in one place
Our new centralised learning area brings your courses, progress and certificates together. It gives you a clear place to return to as you work through your learning and build your formulation knowledge.
- Access your enrolled courses from one central learning area.
- Keep track of your course progression.
- Return to your learning when you’re ready to continue.
- Keep track of the certificates you’ve earned.
Whether you prefer to study a little at a time or set aside a longer session, you can see how far you’ve come and what’s next.
More inspiration for your formulation bench
Our formula library gives you another way to explore cosmetic formulation and find inspiration for your next project. We’ll be updating it regularly, so there will be new formulas to discover as the library grows.
As you develop your knowledge, use the formulas to think about the purpose of each ingredient, how the ingredients work together and the choices behind the finished product.
Practical calculators to support your work
We’ve introduced formulation calculators to help with the numbers behind your products. These include:
Formula cost
Calculate ingredient costs to understand how much a formula costs to make and compare different ingredient choices.
Batch scaling
Scale ingredient quantities up or down when you want to make a different batch size while keeping your formula’s proportions consistent.
Usage rate
Work out ingredient quantities from your chosen usage percentages and batch size.
These tools help with calculations, leaving you more time to consider your ingredients, process and results.
New courses available now
Alongside the website launch, we’re pleased to introduce two courses available to purchase.

Build your understanding of cosmetic ingredients and the safety considerations behind responsible formulation. Our Foundations course helps you become familiar with ingredient functions, formulation terminology and the information you need to make more informed choices.
